Although finding the source of the smell can be very hard, i have found that dryer lint sheets work at absorbing foul odors in cars. Take four lint sheets or so and put them under the seats and the smell should go away within a day or two. My uncle details cars and we use them to take the cigarrete smell out of cars. As for the source, who knows what is could be and good luck finding it. Check the engine compartment thoroughly. Sometime animals crawl up into the hood to get warm. Something could have died in there. Hope this helps!

You've upset somebody and they hidden a prawn (shrimp) head somewhere in your seat, probably between the seat foam and the cover.
An upholsterer may be able to help as they can remove the seat covering and find the source.

Probably a rat or mouse crawled up in your seat and died. Any mechanic can take the seat out and look at it and see if they can find the cause.
