My Boyfriend always picks his best friend (who is incidentally a girl) over me always? Why?

this girl was friends with me first... we were real close, but then she and my boyfriend met and got real close and we grew apart.. i wasnt dating my boyfriend when they met though but she knew i was interested in him.. Now no matter when, if her and i fight or i say something to her, he always sides with her, and when she's not around comes and tells me i'm being a b*itch to her and i should be nicer to her.. except the constant reason my bf and me fight is because he's paying her more attention than needed.. its like he thinks its his duty to protect her or something.. i wish he would come to my defense for once..

Why is he being this way? Is he interested in her? Is he no longer interested in me?

Also... they are excessively touchy and huggy for best friends and at first i tried to be chill with it but now i just feel really insecure.. also he keeps our relationship under wraps and doesnt want the ppl in our college to know.. I dont understand why.. I feel like he's ashamed of me..

Please tell me what you think.. Why would he be behaving this way?

    It's risky but better take a chances now then watch something more sorrowful in future. Try to take both of them and ask him in front of her without being aggressive, If he is interested in her in that romantic way.Same thing ask her about him.

    Another problem might be that hiding your relationship thing.It might make your relationship shady like it doesn't almost exist. Does he take it seriously ? I can't imagine i would hide someone i love just without any reasonable excuse(like her protection or something).

    to answer "why", i think he lack of seriousness in matter of your relationship.

    That doesnt sound good at all. It sounds like they got something going on. Try talking to him about how you feel. If he still doesnt get it dump him. He should always choose your side. Not some other girls. Thats messed up.

    wow your in a tough situation i would just talk to both of them talking about how you feel about all of that stuff and if that doesnt work out then i would just have to trash that hoe!!!!

    you know what talk to him about the problem if he understands and apologizes , grate, but if he stays the same ************** , brake up!
