yes those are possiblitys coil or the module but also a number one is the fuel pump relay switch. if this goes bad it will cause the fuel pump to turn off then will die as run out of fuel then will fire right back up. and then sumtimes they willl get to the point to were it wont fire up for a few minutes cause the pump dont turn back on imediately. they are very common to go bad ive replaced many. should be under the dash under the radio its like 5 bucks... its hard to see cause u get to it from the point of view as if setting in a seat lookin below radio yet u take off bottom panels to get to it. should have 2 one for horn and one for fuel pump u can actualy swap them to test it if u want before buying cause they are identical. just takes your time. also u could test if it was fuel pump kicking off by check for fuel pressure while key is off still after it dies... good luck, i highly suggest checking this. but what u said is options too.

Did you check for spark? Sounds like the symptoms of a ECU but check for spark before you buy parts.
