Sounds like incompatible hardware device driver issue. This mostly happen when you upgrade to Windows 7 from XP. You may have installed an incompatible driver. Download a compatible driver or
Please try to install the Hardware Device Driver using Compatibility Mode to solve the issue:. Place the driver installation file on the Desktop.
Right Click the driver installation file and select Properties/Compatibility Tab. Select the appropriate options.
For Windows 7 I suggest selecting XP or Windows Vista, whichever will work.
Click Apply/OK.
