How do I make an Excel Cell allow Specific letters?

I have an Excel Sheet with a column that I want only a specific letter to be entered. ie Cell A1 can only have ONE of the following P,L,T,I,or O and NOTING else. Can this be done and if so how?

    Try Data Validation

    - Select A1 & click "Data Validation" on the Data tab

    - Click "List" in the "Allow" dropdown list

    - In the Source box, type P,L,T,I,O. Click OK.

    Excel can do alot of auto formatting with number styles select column you want to modify  > Format > Cells, see your options. I don't believe there is any way to do specific set letters.
