How old can I start to stay home alone?

My mom is gonna go on vacation for 2 weeks and I'm gonna be home alone would it be legal if I'm 14

    No-you can be removed from the home for child neglect.

    I surely hope not. It's not a good idea for her to be gone for that long. If an emergency happened and she's away, you could be taken into emergency custody by the state and she would have to fight to get you back.
