Which of these books is the "Best"?

For my English class, we have a choice of many world literature books from various countries. I know it would be hard to determine which one is the best, as they are all totally different from one another. This is the list:

Crime and Punishment

The Inferno (Dante's Inferno)

Nectar and Sieve

Things Fall Apart

100 Years of Solitude

The Poison-wood Bible

All Quiet on the Western Front

Honestly, I've sorta had a condescending attitude on some of the books, these are the books where I'm kinda down on. But, if you guys feel strongly about these three books, please try to convince me. Please don't ruin any of the endings of any of these books.

Nectar and Sieve

Things Fall Apart

All Quiet on the Western Front.

I like Greek mythology, and I'm into religion and philosophy. If it's a book that makes me think deeply about it, I would love it. Thanks for your input.

Out of the books from the list I've read, I'd recommend you to read Crime and Punishment. It has philosophical elements (loads of it) and really gives you something to think about.

Plus - many critics claim it to be the best novel ever written :)
