Joint pain associated with cold or humidity? Please read all details.?

I'm 27 years old and have had this pain off and on ever since I was about 8 years old. It's like a dull throb in one or more of my joints when I am cold, and recently I've noticed it tends to happen right before the weather changes as well (like right before it's going to rain) When I was 17 I had all kinds of tests done at the doctor. Everything from x-rays to blood tests and nerve tests, etc. and everything came back fine. They ended up telling me there was nothing wrong with me and that it was all in my head. The only way I can explain this pain is this:

It's a dull ache that starts in one joint (never the same one) sometimes only on one side, and other times on both sides of my body. If for example, the pain starts in my knee, about a half hour later or so I also feel the same pain in either my ankle or hip, as well as still in my knee. If it starts in my shoulder then eventually I will also feel it in my elbow and wrist. Any kind of movement always makes the pain worse. The affected area is always cold to the touch and the only way to relieve the pain is to cover up and hold very still (usually for at least an hour) until the pain subsides, and then I'm fine until the next "flare up" and these flare ups are anywhere from days to months apart. I've read up on many different types of arthritis and so far everything I've read talks about symptoms that are completely the opposite of what I am feeling. For example, the affected area is suppose to be warm to the touch and movement is suppose to ease the pain, and so on.

Every time I talk to a doctor about it they seem to be baffled and can't figure out what is wrong. I'm just wondering if anyone can give me any insight to what this could be and if they are familiar with these symptoms?
