Message sent automatically from my email to all my contacts and I can't stop it..?

Hey fellas,

I hope all is well at your side.

Recently, a message is automatically sent every now and then from my email to all my contacts. I am not doing this. It is sent on its own. The message is normally about a link. For example: www.soundmanagementcorporation.com/index

Do I have a virus? Is my email hacked? Is it an adware in my computer? How can I stop this forever? I am concerned because I have got important contacts and this is ruining my relations with them. They think I sent them a virus or something. Can somebody please help me out? It would be very kind of them... Bunch of thanks and guaranteed "best answer" selection to the person who helps me out. Thanks fellas!

Cheers!

It really does sound like you have a virus. Many virus's will attack your email accounts, and do just what's going on with you, sending out mass emails to your contacts with the virus attached. If they open it, they will also get the virus, and it will continue. Best thing to do is to tell your contacts about what's going on, let them know you're trying to fix it. That way they don't open any odd emails. Then, use an anti-virus program to try to fix the problem. Use internet anti-virus programs if that doesn't work. You may end up having to clear your entire computer, and restart from scratch if it's bad enough. It shouldn't be that bad, but you'll have to see as you go. For future reference, don't open any strange looking emails, delete them immediately. Also, don't open links or ads you don't know or trust. Don't go to any strange websites that you don't trust, and keep an anti-virus program working in the background at all times. Good luck.

First run all of the anti-virus programs you have on your computer one at a time. Next change your PW. Then email all of your contacts and tell them to do the same thing so no spam emails are sent from what looks like their email address. Also No Peace without Emancipating suggested to add the following to your contact list.

aaaaa@aaaaa.com (use "a" as the name of the person.)

zzzzz@zzzzz.com (use "z" as the name of the person.)

This way the worm or whatever it is will think the email addresses in your contact list are invalid since the first one and last one are invalid.

I had the precise identical concern- and it doesn't matter what I did (modified password, deleted the contacts, delete beyond emails) it stored on persisting. At the tip, I could not uncover any answer so I needed to delete my account. I believed we acquired hacked both via a few type of virus that pass into your account and positioned your entire contacts on a roster, sending them unsolicited mail out of your title. But you must definetly warn your peers for the reason that I suppose I acquired the concern from accidently clicking on a type of unsolicited mail hyperlinks that have been despatched to my e mail.
