How to cook Guinea pig?

My pet Guinea pig recently died, not of any illnesses, it just got old.

I figured, what better send-off for my rodent friend than throwing a meal in his memory, then I looked at his body and said to myself "That's a fair bit of meat on there" and the idea came to me to cook him up for dinner.

Anyone have any tips on how I should prepare and cook him?

His name was Walrus if that helps.

I don't think you should eat your guinea pig...Not only is it rather disgusting to eat your own pets, there's also a reason why people don't eat animals when they die of old age. Your dear departed Walrus was clearly not at the prime peak of health when he died, meaning that the meat on him will be rather tough and stringy. Probably most of the "fair bit of meat" will be fat and/or just fluff. Remember, guinea-pigs are just viewed as more of an aperitif than as a full-size meal in places like Peru. My suggestion is to hold a wake instead for Walrus.

Why would you do that?! Show some respect and bury it and have a memorial. Your pet probably loved you and your going to cook it???????? That is horrible and you don't deserve the honer of having a pet, you should be banned from having pets. Sure you might have loved it, but you can't have cared very much if your just going to cook them when they are dead! Hope you decide to bury the poor thing and let it rest, otherwise you are a sick person.

As sick as this guy sounds,

guinea pig is a delicacy in south american countries like peru. my friend on my hockey team went there for a missions trip, he said it was salty, had a weird taste.

but i doubt this guy lives in peru, and hes probably just trolling.
