Have you ever met a Nascar driver out at the Grocery store and struck up a convesation about anything but NASC?

No but I did meet Carl at a local gas station in 2007. I live just east of Kansas City. The Thursday before the Kansas race, I was at an Apple Trail picking up Hunts Bros pizza. Carl had bought a motorcycle, and was riding it from his hometown of Columbia to the track. We talked about his motorcycle and how it was brand new and leaked oil. We talked about the Chiefs vs Rams, and how my uncle and I had seen his dad race quite a bit at I-70 Speedway just a few miles outside the town I grew up in, and how me and my best friend one time snuck my 74 Maverick and his 79 Grand Prix through a field that butted up to the track property and ran hot laps. Carl was very cool and we talked for about a half hour just like you would a neighbor. I told him I had to get my cold pizza home and take an a** chewing from a Jr fan for it. I did get a couple pics on my phone of me and him and him on his motorcycle and an autograph for evidence to my wife. He wished me luck on that, and I wished him luck at the track.

What a useless question. There are no drivers in my area and probably other people are in that sort of situation. Some people may not have many drivers nearby as well. Even if I did see one out in the world, I would let them be. This person is live and let live, most of the time.

I live in the Charlotte area which is nascars headquarters so I do see drivers frequently but ive never talked to one in a grocery store.

i met Paul Menard at a Menard's that opened in 2008. he was there promoting the store. i got his and Matt Crafton's autograph that day.

i also met some of Carl Edwards nationwide crew members at the Milwaukee Mile. they were at a nearby Walgreens. i got to drive the race simulator. his crew ribbed me since i was wearing Tony Stewart gear while driving Carl's car. they were all in good spirits though. i still have the Claritin Clear samples they handed out.

Not on a daily basis, but I met Trevor Bayne a couple weeks ago at walmart. We talked about gas prices lol. I talked to Kasey Kahne and his brother Kale on lake Norman one day in 2008 about fishing.

Nope. I've met a few actors though. I didn't go up to get their autograph because I didn't want to get everything stirred up so I just glance.

Yes. I see them quite often here in the Charlotte / Mooresville area.

Yea, Kyle Busch. His brother was all he talked about.
