how much should a used iphone 3gs cost?

    It would depend mostly on the condition. But, you can get a new 3gs through AT&T for $50 now I think. You shouldn't pay more than like $150 for a 3gs in great condition. They are becoming outdated now since the 4 is out and the 5 is coming out this Fall.
