Are fog machines safe indoors around stereo / electronic equipment?

You won't have any problems with electronics, but a fog machine will set off all of the smoke detectors anywhere nearby.

I've done the same thing and I run a fairly powerful home theater at the same time. So far, I haven't been shocked or mortally wounded. :D

It shouldn't do anything, it hasn't done anything to my gear. All of my gear is in open cabinets, so they're aren't closed up. I never really let the fog collect to massive amounts though, so as long as you don't go overboard you are completely fine in my experience.

The worst that has happened to me is I've blown my breaker a few times... 1500-ish watt home theater, an old in-efficient TV, and the fog machine. In that case, make sure you have a surge protector. =D

Yes, EVMs are not fool proof but name any other method which is more reliable. Advantages: 1) Once vote is cast, no changes can be made. 2) Easy to use. 3) Easy in vote counting and recounting. 4) Saves time of voters. 5) Less chances of vote cancellation. Disadvantages: 1) Manipulations can be made before hand. 2) Memory chip can be changed after voting. But overall, I will vote for EVM.
