Take Your Favorite Lyrics Of The Week, And Tell Us a Story With Them?

You know, that one song you have stuck in your head, that one line, where the band utters something awesome. Take that and spin a grand little tale, but make sure to at least tell us the name of the song and the band =) It can't be that hard, lots of lyrics tell stories already!

The Grand Inquisitor II: Roots And Locusts - The Ocean (saw this song live, now I'm obsessed with the band... again.)

"I too, lived on, roots and locusts." *ahem*

July 19th, 1858

The island has little food, and from what I can tell, little animal life. I've run out of rations from the boat, and empty rum bottles line the beach like corpses. My tent at least, made from the tattered sail, provides some safety from the wildlife. The predators, however, worry me less than the problem of food. Lately I've wandered in the jungle and tried to eat plants, and I saw a strange beast nibbling on the roots of a tree. I too did this. I too, lived on roots and locusts.

So, uh... I was bored. Hopefully you all are, too, and you write us a story! =)

Well I did this before for a school project and I turned it into a type of poem called a found poem.

    We sail through endless skies

    Caravan- Black Sabbath

    Into the fabric of life

    Are we moving forward?

Guided by the lift of progress

    Egress- The Contortionist

A blooming world is being ripped apart

Planetary wide scorching from the focused light

    Light- The Contortionist

Cold and empty space surrounds and swells

Time is moving at invariable speeds and our instruments are useless

    Void- The Contortionist

We are just mortal souls left to die.

    We all create this imagery.

    We all increase this lunacy.

    We all increase this lunacy.

Alaska- Between the Buried and Me

    Humanity will be destroyed

My pro-creator I have warned thee of my prophecy

Until that day, stand your ******* ground

My pro-creator, stand your ******* ground

    Father of Lies- Whitechapel

Can someone see our self destruction?

    Are we reminding ourselves

    That our existance is

    So delicate

That without this light we are no more

    Carbon- Vnv Nation

We're on a march towards the end

    Set in Motion- Misery Signals

There's no sign of the morning coming

Like a Rainbow in the Dark

    Rainbow in the Dark- Dio

"I'll never wake up without an overdose of you."

(yes, I am a girl writing from a guy's point of view. gotta problem? didn't think so...)

I poured out the bottle of pills. I was really going to do this. She had left me, gone for him. A tear slipped down my cheek, but I swiped it away quickly. Crying, a sign of weakness. This, what I was about to do, wasn't an action tinted with weakness; it was a stand against her.

I filled my palm with three of the small white objects and popped them in my mouth. I kept on with this act until I felt drowsy. I walked into my bedroom and laid on the bed. I drifted off into a deep sleep... or death.

"Phillip!" screamed Morgan. Morgan... What was she doing here? In Heaven?

Then my eyes shot open. I was still alive, and Morgan was here, with me.

"Morgan, I love you. You take away all of my pain. You are what gets me through the day. I would never have woken up without an overdose of you," I said to her.

Yeah, I wrote a story... Haha! Weird how I pictured the song right? Most people wouldn't think on those terms, but I guess I'm just morbid like that...

Many nationalities grace where I am from,

a few I cannot tolerate, but still I do like some..

Racism abundant here, hardly changes unlike Weather..

But I Am He As You Are He As You Are Me, And We Are All Together....
