as you are dialling her mobile you just dial the number. you would only add the country code to that if you were dialling outside the the UK. you deffo don't add the local Lanzarote code. fyi if you were outside the UK you drop the leading 0 and replace with +44 other countries eg the us 7 canada don't have a leading zero. effectivley the 0 acts like the long distance dialling orefix used there (IIrc its 001) the other respondent makes a good point, you friend may well be paying to receive your call, so unless the both of you have something really important to discuss she may not be impressed to get a, possibly significant bill for inconsequential conversation

If you want to phone her you just dial her number as normal without any codes however if she wants to call you she needs to call 0044 and then drop the 0 from the dialling code as she will be switched to another operator when arriving in Lanzarote (normally Movistar). Bear in mind though that when you call her she will also be charged for the call whereas if she calls you then only she will be charged for the call. I live in the Canaries so hope this helps!
