Amount received as a Gift to any extent is taxfree if it is taken from relative. Relative has been definded under section 56(2) of the Income Tax Act 1961. Gift from any other person is exempt from tax upto Rs 50000.00 from a single doner.

gift upto rs 50,000 is exempt but if they are proving for some purpose like for ur studies or tutions...ask them to write a letter to u regarding the same ...it might be desired as an evidence...and THIS IS WHEN , when you recieve it from an unrelated person

GIFT WILL NOT BE TREATED AS YOUR INCOME EVER WHEN YOU RECIEVR IT FROM ANY RELATIVE OF URS ...and your grandparents come under the definition of relative..

so which you wanna talk approximately lies? i'm going to purely discredit one among your memories because of the fact i don't have time for all of them. we could initiate with the G.M. plant. Obama visited mentioned planet in Oct of 08 on an identical time as campaigning, and promised those workers if elected he could help G.M. retool that plant to construct distinctive automobiles and shop that plant open. The plant began last operations in December of 08 yet did not close completely until April of 09.....after Obama took workplace. ok one extra gas expenditures. you're good the President does not administration them, yet then why did Obama declare in a interview with C-Span in 08 that Bush's failed regulations are in charge for top gas expenditures, and a vote for McCain is a vote for an identical failed regulations? So who's mendacity?...YOU or Obama?
