Connecting Nintendo DS to Wi-Fi help?

Every time I try to connect to Wi-Fi on my Nintendo Ds, it won't let me. I get the error code 51100. It tells me to make sure I entered the right Wep key and I'm sure I did, the first one on the list with the bubble filled in. I went to the Nintendo support website, and that still did not solve my problem. I even tried taking down the SPI-firewall and it still did not work, as well as installing a program to clear out my registry, but then it said I had to pay for it, so I couldn't use it. In every attempt I have made to connect I have been right next to my router. My router is a netgear WGR614 v8. I have to correct SSID as well. I have it set to 'Auto-obtain IP Adress' and 'Auto-obtain DNS' as well. Should I manually enter all that information, or is that not even the source of the problem? What is wrong? I would prefer not to do any actions that would put my computer (Which is a Mac, idk if that has something to do with it) at risk. Is there any way I can connect to it, or is it just not possible at this point?
