Nuclear Physics. Help Me Solve This Question?

A radioactive material contains two radionuclides, one has a half-life of 1 day and another has a half-life of 8 days. Initially the radioactivity of the shortlived nuclide is 128 times greater than that of the longlived nuclide. When will their activities be equal?

    128 happens to be 2^7.

    So in 7 half life, in 7 days, the activity of the short lived isotope would have dropped to the initial level of the long lived one. Which would have dropped to half its initial value one day later. Which the short lived one would drop to after that extra day as well.
