R&S: I'm stealing a question from the philosophy section to get your take on it:?

"What in the name of everything holy gave you the bright idea to make some humans so self-aware? Don't you realize how painful it is to see yourself, and your faults, so clearly?"

It's always baffled me how some people can be so self-aware, while others are completely oblivious to everything about themselves. I suspect ignorance is bliss in this case. While said oblivious people are most definitely offended when someone finds them unbearable, at least they fail to acknowledge and brood over the reason why it is so.

Although, I would really have to suppress the urge to ask instead "Why do people read Dan Brown?"

Sheesh---am I the only one who wants to know if there is an afterlife when the body dies? Isn't that the biggest question of them all?

Though an eternal,omniscient being,how do you enjoy foreknowledge of all things that will occur in endless eternity..

Why create? What was the impetus, the drive, the motivation for bringing everything that isn't "you" into being?

The most boring question of all--"What's the purpose of this existence?", more commonly asked as "What's the meaning of life?"

Are you aware of yourself? What are your needs and goals for this universe? Can you learn and change? What are duck-billed platypi for? LOL

Why don't you intervene when babies and children are being abused? (That includes sexually,physically & mentally)

It makes me sick when mothers do shlt like put their babies in microwaves and crap.. What kind of lowlife skumfck would DO that?

The first thing that pops into my mind, is 'why?" But I think I would bite that one back and ask, "What were you thinking?"
