WIN-15 MIDNIGHT INTERLUDE - Rapidly improving California based colt rallied to win Santa Anita Derby-G1 in last start despite traffic problems.
PLACE-19-NEHRO - Steve Asmussen trained colt unleashed a powerful rally to just miss winning the Arkansas Derby-G1 last time out. He closed well to lose by a neck in Louisiana Derby-G2 in previous race.
SHOW-12-SANTIVE - Earned a competitive sheet fig in his runner-up effort in Risen Star-G2 two races back. Won the Kentucky Jockey Club-G2 at Churchill Downs 3 races back. Reunited with Shaun Bridgmohan who was aboard in that win. Is bred to handle the distance.

Awesome Race..Animal Kingdom got it at the wire by about a length to win the 2011 Kentucky Derby. It was his first race on a dirt surface, and what a race it was. At 21-1 odds, Animal Kingdom paid huge and was far from a favorite, or contender, in the Derby.

This is a "rebound" field and you'll see it in the wagering....not one runner is stepping into the starting gate without some solid angle that could find him eating dollar dogs at a minor-league game on Sunday afternoon and looking for a ticket to North Randall, Ohio, for the Ohio Derby in early June.....Mucho Macho Man tossed a shoe in his last outing, but has been training as well as any and will get up late to edge Nehro for the top prize, with Pants On Fire making a late run for show. The Beyer Speed Figure isn't going to have possible Preakness starters scattering for cover....and the Triple Crown talk will end in Baltimore.

I can't play straight bets on the Derby anymore after my Grindstone win. That was the only horse I have seen that liked the outside post and would do well. No such thing since then. I like six horses and will most likely play some kind of exotics.

On the nose--- Dialed In ( I have been very impressed by the way he gets to the wire )
Place-- Midnight Interlude ( Saw a race replay of his last win, trapped 3 and 4 wide most of the way )
Show---- Archarcharch ( Bred on very stout staying bloodlines has 2 English Derby winners in his pedigree Roberto and Nureyev ( son of the brilliant Nijinsky )
PS- It is a shame my " smokey " Sway Away didn't get a start, could have run - a - drum. ( place)

what is with you people shackle ford takes this undistinguished group of baby's in any one of these triple crown races.and no i am not saying he is going to win all three but may 7th 2011 is all his since rally yours greager
