what happens to a sky box when the contract ends can you still watch channels on it?

or do you have to buy a card to view channels on it as i have cancelled my mulitroom from sky and i was wondering what happens after its cancelled

    Make sure that you leave the card in place as this will allow you to watch softly encrypted channels.

    You can watch free channels.
