How old does my daughter have to be before she can get an email account?
I don't have a credit card and Yahoo says I need one to get it for her! How do I get her an account with out one AND without lying about her age? I know they will only charge the card 50 cents but if you don't have a card you don't have one!

Is that something new here on Yahoo? When I made my email on Yahoo, I didn't have to give a credit card. When you set up a new account for yahoo answers, they make an email for you. Why don't you make another account for yahoo answers, in your name, but have her email go to it. I'm assuming she's pretty young from how you asked the question, so you can just go on and be sure she isn't answering or asking questions on YA. Or you could set up a gmail account. Do it in your name, that would be safer anyway since you could really monitor it and just have it be her account.

Just don't be one of those YA dorks who uses the account to vote for herself. It's a little more than obvious when someone always gets four or five votes and has %70 best answer.

she can have an account at any age, there is no age limit for her, however when she is of legal age,she would have to prove to yahoo, that she is older to have an adult account
