Can hallucinations be beneficial?

I read that hallucination are visual representations of the subconscious. So can hallucinations be used to access deeper information only the subconscious is capable of remembering?

Example: You're taking an examination and you forgot about something you know you've studied about last night. You begin seeing a hallucination of your dead relative/pet/friend/whoever. That hallucination talks to you and gives you the answer you keep searching your mind for.

Or you've witnesses a murder and your mind blocks out that memory from normal access. You were then asked to testify in the trial. You begin seeing a hallucination which help you remember the memory which was blocked out of access.

Can that happen? Of course, I know hallucinations happens when there is an underlying disease (usually mental). But taking that aside and looking just at the hallucination itself, would the hallucination be considered helpful?

So can hallucinations be helpful in a way that it'll help us access information from our subconscious?I hope that didn't sound stupid and immature...

What you are refering to are two different things one is a visual cue that has triggered a specific memory the other is as you put the cause by an underlying mental illness.

i might choose to think of of it as confirmation--love prevalent AND given back. it extremely is expressive. (a minimum of, it could be!) it must be an effect, yet that would possibly no longer likely be love, might it?No to the final 2. No no no. i glanced on the solutions, & I would desire to no longer likely, using fact once I see something that may not "fairly" genuine, or is complicated, i'm no longer able to look to assist making a remark. i encourage to selection that love is an "action verb." Love is likewise, (first definition) a noun; a verb relying on the way it extremely is utilized in a sentence. Love isn't "merely" an emotion; it extremely is many stuff. i do no longer understand Randy D. you're asking with reference to the definition of love, no longer a selection, or objective. to characteristic "decision" could be greater suited to asking: Is love a call? A wish? A wish? A objective? A reason? that could shift the question thoroughly faraway from what you asked, (I say maximum respectfully). Defining "love" is thoroughly subjective. i'm going to stay with my decision, because it represents mutuality to me. In my young ones, i presumed infatuation develop into love, yet this is as short in existence as this is long in intensity. i'm hoping i'm making some experience to you...
