The Communist Party USA, Socialist Party USA and the Democrat Party all self identify as "Progressives"?

They are all the same.

All part of the left wing spectrum of political beliefs that agree on a varying degree of government intervention to protect the general welfare of the people. Some of us believe that no privately owned corporations are good for the general welfare, where some of us believe that a moderate amount of democratically agreed upon social safety net is sufficient to protect the viability of the middle class.

Progressivism as a term refers to an advancement of society from the feudalism and tyranny or moneyed interests to that of a more stable and secure society.

Personally, I believe in balance. Of course we would be nowhere without the "conductors" or the elite talented individuals who run things well and get things done, but as any musician knows, if the conductor refuses to acknowledge the contribution of the orchestra and takes all the credit, there will be no more music.

Without a healthy, happy, well cared for labor force, the kings of industry will have nothing but their legos to build their empires.

We rich people have a lot of responsibilities and we need our tax breaks protected, our oil companies desperately need your tax subsidies even though we might have record profits and record high prices. The Democrats want us to pay taxes. Can you imagine such a thing? Just so their precious schools can stay open, just so sewage won't flow in the streets, just so people like you won't die by the millions in epidemics. How selfish can you be? I spend more in caviar for my little poodles in a week than someone like you will earn in a lifetime, I have never worked a day in my life, I am on a trust fund and I do need the Republican Party to defend my rights. Thanks ever so much. I sure hope our Republicans can privatize social security and end medicare, that will lower my taxes even more!

those fringe parties are trying to ride the popularity and legitimacy of the Democrats. The Communist Party USA even tries to voice support for Obama when if you read their doctrines, he's against them point for point.

The GOP has it's share of so called "Right Wing Conservatives" riding their coat-tails, too.... namely the National Socialist Party, etc...

They seem to all be the same. Collectivism through government rule is their answer to every problem in society to include economics and environments. Progressives are really regressive wanting to take us back to ways that have continually failed and led to brutality throughout the history of the modern world. Social justice means nobody gets justice. Collective salvation means no religion. Collective environmentalism means reducing our quality of life to rely on the weather while the climate is being used as the basic reason for all of it these days. Earth worship.

Funny thing about Communism is that it has always ended up with only a few with wealth and the vast majority with almost nothing...sounds like the cons plan to me.

Liberals will try to deny their Communist and Socialist connection but the are lying.

They are all on the same page.

You inability to notice differences in similarities is on par for being a neo-con, or a regressive. Let's just say that liberals are for our form of government, too.
