Kill every last gay person?

I was reading about Uganda and how it's illegal to be gay. David Bahati is trying to pass a law saying that gay people should get the death penalty. I don't understand how someone could go as low at to saying "kill every last gay person." What did gay people do to him. Honestly I think he is secretly gay. If you were straight why would you have such strong feeling about gays and focus your career on killing gay people. No one should die because of there sexual orientation. What do you guys think about the bill and David Bahati?

Merely because a politician introduces an anti-gay bill or states that he wishes to kill all gays does not make him secretly gay. Perhaps he believes that homosexuality is chosen and such harsh laws against LGBT people might "deter" homosexuality. In fact, they might only help people hide it more, which makes it useless. For more information on the bill, taken from Wikipedia due to laziness to type it, "in Uganda, the Anti-Homosexuality Bill, if enacted, would broaden the criminalisation of homosexuality by introducing the death penalty for people who have previous convictions, are HIV-positive, or engage in same sex acts with people under 18 years of age. The bill also includes provisions for Ugandans who engage in same-sex sexual relations outside of Uganda, asserting that they may be extradited for punishment back to Uganda, and includes penalties for individuals, companies, media organisations, or non-governmental organisations that support LGBT rights." Normally, LGBT Ugandans get imprisoned for up to 14 years for homosexuality. The introduced bill only adds the death penalty for other offences along with homosexuality, not for merely being homosexual. By the way, David Bahati expressed a possibility that he might revoke the death penalty aspect of the bill, but he could be lying, yet, it's still possible. Nevertheless, I would agree with the bill if it were toned down only to the portion of engaging in *any* sexual activity, meaning no matter gay or straight, with someone under 18, especially in an African country where preteen and teenage birth rates are very high. That could use serious regulation. I do not, however, believe that such offenders should get the death penalty for it, but rather a reasonable sentence consistent with "statutory rape" laws in developed countries. The rest of the bill, which sees the imprisonment and/or death penalty for those with previous convictions, offenders with HIV, etc. should be dropped, mainly because they defy the country's constitution. I also believe that the "normal" anti-gay law, that sees the imprisonment of LGBT people for up to 14 years, should be revoked due to its failure to comply with the constitution.

particular its like the warfare on drugs different than smaller. in actuality im in all threat between the main lifelike people you will ever communicate with and that i think of its effective to be gay as long as you do no longer rape people or attempt to apply it as an excuse for something.

I don't believe anyone have the right to kill anyone.

Using a religious or reason to justify this action is lame and selfish

People places and things that people don't like does not mean that is bad or wrong.

these people are actually prisoners of their own soul

Basically he is a religious nut. This is why religion should be questioned at all times, because it is the most irrational institution there is.

I agree, he's gay himself and wants to hide it.

He's on a par with Hitler, he's pure evil.
