IDEAS! Perennial flowering plant for garden in full sun in either purple or pink.. Ideas? I'm zone 5/6?
I am so sick of the same old Lowe's plants and am considering buying from a nursery if I can find that right plant that's worth it. Any ideas of a few flowering plants (not scrubs) that are either purple or pink?

Echinacea, pink saliva or veronica, lithrim, creeping verbena, ice plant, asters, creeping phlox, garden phlox (tall kind)...
If you do want to venture into shrubs....butterfly bushes, the dwarf kind, weigelas, black lace elderberry (dark purple lacy foliage), ruby spice clethra....and there are more, depending on how tall you want.
