As well as low fat and she is a vegetarian. She has a couple of health problems from high blood pressure to her stomach no longer works. Does anybody have any food recommendations?

    low residue diet

    mashed potato

    white bread

    rice

    cottage cheese ( low salt)

    peanut butter on white toast.

    hummous with pita bread

spaghetti alfredo or with simple oil and parmesan.

Scrambled tofu, or scrambled eggs, with bagel.

Low residue fruit- half a grapefruit, orange, apple will help the intestine. Apple sauce, apricot puree, stewed fruit, all of them are soft. In fact dried fruit ( but not figs or pears) is good, when you stew it in water overnight, serve with plain white yoghurt.

Rice with pumpkin, peel the pumpkin.

Noodles and tofu. Careful to eat plain noodles with oat, rice, or wheat flour and a little salt- not the instant 20cent ramen ones.

Mash sweet potato, sour cream ( fat free).
