1. Assume that the expression is (6x + 6)/x. Divide each term by x to get:
6x/x + 6/x = 6 + (6/x)
2. Assume that the expression is (4x - 4)/-x. Do the same for this problem!
4x/-x - 4/-x
So the solution is -4 + (4/x)
I hope this helps!

6(x +1/x) = 6(x^2 +1)/x
Not sure if you copied the other one right
-4/-x = 4/x So, do the same thing as above (4(x^2 +1)/x)
if the "-" in front of the x is the "error":
4x -4/x = 4(x^2 -1)/x = 4(x-1)(x+1)/x
