If you have had breast cancer I was wondering if you could help me out. What were your symptoms? Was there a lump and if so how noticeable was it? Any other info you want to include will be greatly appreciated!!

Yes I had Ductal Incarcinoma Insitu.

There was no lump,or symptoms. it was found on mammogram.

I had it two years before it discovered as told by my oncologist.

Treatment was mastectomy with no radiation or chemo afterwards.

I chose to do reconstruction of mastectomy breast.

So far after three years of surgeries --------- no cancer has been detected in other breast.

Yes, I have had breast cancer.

Can I ask why you're asking? I had a quick glance at your Q&A, and it's clear you're a teenager of school age; in which case breast cancer isn't something you need worry about for yourself.

My symptom was a lump in my breast. Early breast cancer has no symptoms, and a lump is the first symptom most women notice.

Breast lumps are within the breast, so they aren't really 'noticeable' in the sense that you can see them.

But most breast lumps, even in women over 50 - who make up 80% of those diagnosed - aren't cancer.

If you're worried about symptoms you think you may have - the chances of a girl under 15 having breast cancer are zero; the chances of a girl aged 15 - 20 having breast cancer are a little less than one in one million - which is less than half her chance of being struck by lightning; fewer than 0.1% of all those diagnosed with breast cancer are under 30.

Yes. I had Breast Cancer. I had no symptoms. I had no Pain, I felt no Lump. It was located deep within the breast. If it hadn't been for my annual mammogram i would have never known I had it.

I had a hardening under my nipple for a while and then my nipple became inverted. I had to have a mastecomy followed by chemotherapy and radiotherapy. I have just undergone a DIEP reconstruction which is where they take fat and skin from your tummy and rebuild a breast with it.
