What were voters thinking on American Idol ??? ......?

Great question girlnamedmaria! Yes I believe James was the best singer out of a very talented bunch this year on American Idol and was shocked when they said he was gone, That is the one problem with American Idol is that sometimes the voters just don't get it, and the most talented and best singers are unfortunately sent home. When Casey was sent home, I was mad and was also upset when Pia had to leave. Scotty is good and will have a great country career, Lauren has a great voice and should do well probably in country or soft rock and Haley is tremendous with about anything she sings. I really thought that Scotty would be leaving tonight, not James. I agree that James Durbin has the most awesome voce of them all and the voters got it all wrong.

The voting lines are rigged. I didn't vote yesterday but last week, I voted for James and got a different number. I tried to call it back and it said it was busy for about 15 minutes. I couldn't get through and gave up. I tested another line and it wasn't busy. Hallie's line is never busy. Isn't that strange? Her line is never busy but people are voting for her?

He was never in the bottom 3 or 2 until tonight. He hadn't had a bad performance. Wtf is going on? People love him. It's the Pia thing all over again. Are his fans truly voting or do they expect him to make it through, so they end up not voting?

YOU DAMN STRAIGHT HE DOESN'T NEED IDOL! Chris Daugtry was shockingly eliminated during this week. This is only the beginning. I hope James does well. He's an amazing singer and over all entertainer. I'd love to see him in concert.

People was assuming he would of made the top three

I did not think last night was his best night

I thought the Judges did not help saying how great he was

His fans thought he was save

Scotty can stand up and not sing, and get votes

The two girls, the judges were hard on and their fans knew they needed votes

I thought he would of made the bottom two, with Haley leaving

I thought Lauren and Scotty would be top two

it should have been haley, scotty and james in the final three. Lauren should have gone home. I was shocked that james went home. I thought he would win the competition. but honestly scotty and james are equal when it comes to talent. only scotty's voice seems natural. like he doesn't have to try hard to sing as well as he does. he has a natural talent.

it broke my heart to see james crying and saying he tried so hard and did things not done before on the show. it was almost like he was begging for them not to send him home. I can tell, he didn't understand it either. he was blindsided like pia was.

I am with you, I just knew James was going to be there and I was worried about Scotty but both of the guys were good, they should have dumped one of the girls did not make a difference to me.

I agree Scotty is good .It's just that he kept singing country .I thought Lauren or Hailey should of go Lauren is boring but even though Hailey is getting better I thought she is overrated anyways It surprised me But unfortunately I voted for Scotty last night threw texting .Next week I want either Lauren or Hailey out

ok he could perform and everything, but he did NOT need to scream in ever single song. i get that he can. i just dont find it neccesy in all of those songs. and also he was cocky..you gotta admit.

ps. he mite sing metal but if he is crying on stage like 5 times, he is not an actaul metal.
