Do white boys take black girls seriously?
I want to date a white boy:) But I don't know how to go about it. How do they like to be approached? Do they even take black girls seriously or do I have to be extremely clear that I'm interesting in getting to know them better? At 18 I've seriously dated 2 black guys who both chased after me. But I feel like I would have to chase after a white boy to get him to take me seriously...I need some help! lol. Any advice would be great!

Yes most do. They will take you seriously in that way if they're interested.

You ask people not to be ignorant, but this is an ignorant question that assumes all white guys like to be approached in the same way. Not to mention that you are probably going to make the choice of your next boyfriend based on race. So much for interracial daters being "color blind". What a joke.

I hate White guys!!!
No, I'm just kidding, lol. Most White guys I've met in my life are really nice and a lot of White guys have always liked me and I'm a Black chicana! However, online most of the @ssholes who say stupid things about Black girls are White guys, so I think with White guys its weird because you don't know what he could be thinking. I don't trust White guys anymore. I think its safer for Black girls to date Hispanic men anyway. :D

My friend in Germany had a black girlfriend. And my friend in America who was black took a white guy to the prom.
I don't think it's as common but it's becoming more common these days. I think you have to meet the right white guy. Try to give him signs that you're interested. I don't think most white guys think black girls like them.

Of course we take them seriously, if they are worth it. It is too easy to make broad and sweeping generalizations about ALL black women. It's got to be a case by case basis. I don't take ALL women seriously regardless of their ethnicity, but rather only the ones that deserve my attention. I imagine that you do the same thing with boys, regardless of THEIR skin color.

God I hate questions like these but oh well....
Realness: If you're worth pursuing they will pursue you. Make sure to read up on the signs, which for them, are incredibly subtle. Something I notice is that they show interest more physically rather than vocally.
Intense staring. Bumping up against you. Even a friendly punch.
Read up on the subtleties and you may find yourself in the courting game.
