need chipset help please?

I have a Compaq Presario model S5010NX that has been restored with a master restore that came with my eMachine model W2646 and the processor has been upgraded from a 2.5 to a 2.8 from a eMachine W8222. also the memory ram has been upgraded to a 1 gig. my chipset is a intel i845GL. what i am trying to find is the chipset for installing a ATI Radeon 2900 128MB graphics card. I know it can be used with a intel processor since i have used it with both of my eMachines. the W2888 was intel. I no longer have the old drivers that i downloaded for the eMachines so i need the chipset driver for the card to work on my Compaq. I have windows XP home edition from my eMachine restore disk. I can upgrade to XP pro if need be. also any AGP8x and ATI VGA that can be installed would be great. thanks for the help

Also I have already tried AMD they are no help what so ever. I have even tried Power Color to see if it might be one of theres. I have over a dozen video drivers and catalyst from amd and nothing. the last time that i used this card i had to upgrade my chipset drivers for my eMachine to run a AMD Radeon graphics card something about bridge host or something like that for my amd card to run on a intel processor. so please do not send me to amd.
