I taken this exam last year and a few of my friends are retaking. Don't stress about it because as long as you can use good techniques: punctuation, spelling, grammer, personification, imagery and that stuff you will do well. In the non-fiction i think it is you have a choice of 4 questions, advise, explain, argue and persuade I think. I always did the persuade because you can use persuasives techinqiues that get you brilliant marks. A few persuasive tachinques are: rule of 3, celebrity recomendation, rhetorical question but there are many better ones.

Don't stress about it just learn the writing techniques and the rest should come naturally.

    Good luck!

P.S. I'm doing Literature the week after you (ARRGH!)

I have a reading and writing Non Fiction and Media Texts and I have just been practicing past exam papers with the timing, and I have also been reading more and varied texts, like unusual newspaper articles. Also, there is a good English revision guide from Collins.
