ford f150 tail gate hard to open?
I don't remember it being this hard to open a few years ago. Now it is super hard to open. I think it must be the internal latch/handle assembly. A video would be great pictures would be awesome or some experience nice! Help me out..... It suceth when you have your hands full and The little wife cant drop the tail gate.

You can remove the metal cover on the inside of the gate to get access to the handle. There are plastic clips that attach to each rod (one on each side) these may need to be opened up and adjusted. Sometimes the handle will bend the arms from corroding and you may be best replacing the handle at that point but you can try to lube it up and straighten out the arms. They are not very complicated, I've worked on several and this is a very common problem.

All you need to do is to lubricate the latch inside the tail gate, by removing the cover
