if that was an ordinary couple ie not doctors or such like they would have done time for willful neglect of 3 young kids by abandoning them in a room while they were out enjoying themselves and living it up

Because they employed lawyers and former government spin doctors and paid them a fortune out of the money that was meant to be for looking for Maddy

The leaving of three children unattended in an unlocked apartment on consecutive nights did not take place in this country so Social Services and the police cannot take any action against this pair.
