So about how long would that take to bike for an average person?

If there is one thing I've learned in life, there is NO such thing as the "average" person.
At a leisurely pace of 10 mph - 33 minutes. At 12 mph - 27 min. 30 sec. At 15 mph - 22 minutes even. See link below.

When I was racing I would average just over 30km/per hour, which is about 1km in 2 minutes, so 9km would take about 20 minutes. An average rider would probably sit on 20-25km/hr, so you'd be looking at about 30minutes.

more like 35 for average poke arounders
16 for a 20 mph average, which is pretty fast
10 min is 'winning races' fast

It will depend on the bike, wind, terrain, and your fitness level. Cound be anywhere from 30 min or less for level ground with no wind.

Probly about 10 minutes. Some will be faster, some slower but 10 is the average
