Are pork chops marinating in the fridge in beer and soy sauce since Tuesday ok to cook on Saturday?
I have had pork chops marinating in soy sauce and beer in the fridge since Tuesday, and now it's Saturday. I can't check if they are gray or smell funny because the marinade masks both of these things. Are they ok to cook and eat tonight?

If you had them in a closed container and covered in the marinade, they are fine, just make sure they are well cooked.
they will probably taste REALLY good now.

Provided you cook them well, on a bar-B-Que , they will be fine.
Most meats improve with a little aging. Beef can be kept for a week or more in the fridge. Game of course is usually hung for up to a week or more depending on the animal.
The cooking process will destroy any possible bacteria.Go for it and enjoy them.

In general most foods in the fridge (cooked or uncooked shouldnt be in there after 3 days. After that they start growing bacteria and should be tossed. I would be safe and just toss. Pork chops are cheap and is better to not risk getting food poisoning!!

Unless you want to eat a piece of meet in which you can only taste the soy sauce, then go for it!

The salt is good
The acid level is almost good But it's acidic beer and critters will grow on beer >aka liquid bread
I'd toss it

Be sure to cook them thoroughly and they should be fine. Whether you usually have them well done or not, this time you need to.

Do you remember what the date was on the package? It really depends on that. I'd be safe and toss.

I wished you remembered the exp date because that would tell you if it was ok.

It'll probably taste weird, there is a such thing as over-marinating. Longest marinating time i've known is 48 hours. but 4 days? i dunno
