    There is a slight difference.

Some of the extreme Islamic groups in the Middle East want to obliterate Israel and exterminate the Jews.

The black South Africans on the other hand only wanted to remove the apartheid government.

So the solution for South Africa was simpler, because the threat of slaughter was not hanging over the heads of the white population like it does for Israel.

Neverthless Israel still needs to negotiate some settlement with the Palestinians because the current situation is feeding Islamic extremists.

Let's see. In Israel anyone can be a citizen regardless of race or religion.

20% of all citizens are Arab Israelis.

    All citizens can vote.

All citizens can run for office.

20% of all elected MKs are Arab Israelis.

    All religions are protected.

    Anyone can own property.

No. Israel is nothing like South Africa.

Let's continue applying the same logic.

In Palestine, Jews are not allowed.

The PA has stated they will not allow a single Jew to live on any land in their state.

Hamas' charter is grounded in the goal of genocide against all Jews.

And Palestinian Arabs ethnically cleansed 100% of all Palestinian Jews from

    Hebron in 1929

From 80% of Palestine in 1946 when it was granted independence and renamed Jordan.

From Jerusalem, Gaza, and the West Bank in 1948 while trying to ethnically cleanse all the Palestinian Jews from what is now Israel.

Under PA and Jordanian law it is a death penalty crime for Jews to own any property and for Arabs to sell property to Jews. (And the PA has killed several dozen Arabs for doing so.)

Where were we...That's right, forget citizenship or voting or running for office, Jews are banned from merely living or owning property.

Jewish holy sites are attacked and Jews' banned from access. In 1948, when Jordan seized Jerusalem and ethnically cleansed the Jews, they destroyed all Jewish holy sites and banned access.

The PA has stated (post Oslo) that Jews don't "need" access to Jerusalem at all for any reason.

Within 24 hours of the PA taking security control of Jewish site "Joseph's Tomb," it was attacked and destroyed. The PA was going to rebuild it as a Muslim only Mosque until world pressure stopped them.

Since taking control of Bethlehem, Muslims have been ethnically cleansing Christians. google the terms: Christian persecution palestine

to read about it for yourself.

Sounds like there is a state that makes old South Africa look positively progressive, and it's Palestine.

I think south Africa is a prefect example what would happen to Israel if they gave in as south Africa has,it would soon turn into a toilet just as south Africa has

Considering that Arab and Muslim citizens of Israel have all the same rights and protections as Jewish ones, any comparison is ludicrous and ridiculous.

And when you consider that the Arabs and Muslims in Israel have MORE rights and liberty than they would in any other country on the Arabian peninsula, then the claims against Israel are exposed as the peurile, ignorant anti-Jewish rants that they are.
