I need money? And lots of it...?
I need money but am not getting it now due to my record and it is difficult for me now to find employment. How to go about this? No one wants to hire a person with a felony even though I am skilled with experience. I have never had a problem with employment until this darn felony. All I did was get into a fight and now I have to suffer for 5-7 years because I was defending myself? Why is this? I still have bills that need paying...

Other tips:
1) get in touch with an agency who can help you find something
2) do a job where you can work as a freelancer. For example , you could take a course in swedish massage or various treatments like this. Courses in massage are not too expensive or long. And then you can advertise yourself online and build a client base. Now would be an excellent time to start a business... noone will ever know you have a fellony

They are going to check and they are going to find it so tell your side of the story at the interview and act contrite, not angry or defensive.
Worst comes to worst you will need to declare bankruptcy. And if alcohol was involved in your case, go to AA, it looks good on your record to be seen to be working at changing.
