What should I do to get my child support from my mother?

I'll be 25 this saturday, but I just found out my mother just started getting my child support money from my father since I was 23. Now I want to go let the child support ppl know thats shes been getting my money, and the way the my father set it up I'm suppose to be the only person geting the money and all this time he thought I was geting the money. I dont care about claiming the money because rightfuly its mine, but I'm afraid of how my mother will react and what it will do to are relationship...please help serious answers only

Update:

you can set-up child support where the child can get it if there already grown, and when my dad went to jain I was 18 but my mother had the papers and took them to the child support ppl.

Update 2:

Im Michigan you can sue your parents for child support if they get the money when your 18,so I do know I can sue and thats what the chilchildold me but I have to show proof that she got the money when I was 18 or over,so I CAN GET THE MONEY.

sorry, but you cannot set up child support so that the child receives the money. i dont know how you got that idea but you are greatly mistaken. you cannot get any money from your mother. once again, you are mistaken. if any such thing existed, then the payments would be sent directly to you. they would not be sent to the parent with instructions to turn over the money to you. if i am wrong, direct me to a webpage with a specific law code that defines exactly what you are saying. perhaps i have a misunderstanding.

Can you tell us the exact statute (law) that says you can do this? Who told you you can do this? (you said it was chilchil - who's that, the child support office?) Proof that she got the money when you were over 18 - I guess that would be the court order for the support. I'd like to see the statute that says a) the parent can arrange for the money to go directly to the child, b) you can sue your parent for the money.

It's not rightfully yours. You didn't explain it thouroughly but from what i think you are saying, your father did not pay child support until you were 23 and now has started paying what he owed for when you were a minor. Since he didn't pay in the past, that money that raised you came ALL from your mother and all that money that he owes goes to repay HER. You should be thanking her, not trying to steal from her what is not yours.
