What is Better Laptop or Desktop?

Laptop is only for few works to do!

Over the years I say if you buy an 800 dollar laptop it wont be nearly as powerful as an 800 dollar desktop. Laptops are more portable and they have wifi. I like laptops but If you really need to get some work done get a desktop with a good graphics card (nvidia preferably) and sound card. You can get a decent desktop ranging from 650-800 dollars. Where you could get an OK laptop without a good graphics card for the same price.

To be honest, if you had just 450 dollars to spend you could get a good desktop lol.

If you're talking features and/or specifications, a desktop will be way better than a laptop of the same cost. But before making the call, consider your usage. If you're comfortable with working out of just one table, i suggest you get yourself a desktop

dont listen to selenna. When you buy a laptop you are paying extra for the portability of that machine. When you buy a desktop you are mainly buying the components inside of the machine, making it alot faster than a laptop counterpart.

you can get a nice core i5 Quad core desktop for the same price you would get a low end core i3 laptop

A laptop because you can carry those around and if you try to carry a desktop it would work as good and as nice as a laptop! ;D

It depends on for what purpose are you gonna use it for? Desktop is better for games and graphic programs, but you can carry laptop around everywhere you go.

If u are mobile then go for laptop.

if u need the machine to be stationary then go for desktop.

Moreover, desktops can be altered or modified in future as per your need, but making changes in laptops are costly and also not affordable.

Finally, everything depends on your requirements. And one thing get a good configuration.

A desktop will always be more powerful than a laptop, but a laptop is portable. So it really depends on how important portability is for you.
