Wy am I receiving for the first time resolved questions already?
These last days I have been receiving questions to answer and when I open them I find that these questions have already been resolved. Why is this taking place
You are all giving valid possibilities of what is happening. For the third answerer I must say that I receive them in my mail box and don't open any "resolved questions".

Domenic,
This is one of the first e-mail notices I have received this week for a question that was not resolved four months ago. Y!A went down at 2:00 AM Monday, and obviously not all issues have been resolved.
I hope you will click my avatar to see the questions I've asked this week, since you are one of my most reliable and thoughtful respondents and you probably have not received e-mails about them.
Cheers,
Bruce

It's a glitch. The maintenance made things worse. The history of Y!A glitches is that since 2005 when Yahoo Answers started, Y!A has had many glitches and some of them aren't even fixed yet sadly but some are fixed since then. There will be more glitches in the future so the glitches won't be gone forever. Most of the time, the Yahoo Answers Team are aware when the glitches occur but they don't do anything to some glitches, sadly. Plus, the more people who report the glitches in Y!A's Suggestion Board, the more chance Yahoo Answers Team will react rapidly but sometimes, unfortunately, the Y!AT doesn't even care fixing some glitches. But be aware that the glitches may return.

I've been getting that too for the past several days. The programming is obviously messed up so we are getting quirky, random results and errors. It seems to be getting worse with each passing day.
The so-called "maintenance" they did early Monday morning did not fix anything, only seemed to make it worse.

Because Y!A 'fixed' the system yesterday and all kinds of glitches are cropping up
