Where should I go in Europe?

I am going to study for a semester in Lyon France, and along with traveling within France I am going to ireland, italy, and germany. It is also quite probable that I will visit the Uk, Austria, and Switzerland. Can you give me the top five places to go and top five things to do for as many of the countries previously listed as you can? Please and thank you everyone!

Picking a top 5 sites is really subjective; it depends on your personal interests and preferences. It can also depend on exactly when you're traveling if you're interested in seeing local festivals. It's really hard rto go wrong when you go out exploring here; there are interesting things to see and do just about everywhere you go. That said, you might consider Rome, Florence, Venice, Cinque Terre and the Amalfi Coast. In Austria, definitely visit Vienna and Salzburg. I like Innsbruck too. There are tons of other options though. In Germany, Berlin, Munich (& the Bavarian countryside), the Rhine Valley, and Dresden (combine with a visit to Prague if you have the time). In the UK, there's London (visit Richmond Park while you're there), Oxford, Stonehenge, the Lakes District, and Edinburgh.
