What are some good newer summer books?

I'm a 19 year old girl going into my second year of college this fall and I want a really good summer book. I'm into books with young adults having fun, please no books with sexual abuse or vampires in them. It would be good if it was made within the last three years.

Update:

I'm looking for a book that was made within the last three years that is a cross between the book Party by Tom Leveen, the T.V show Skins(U.S version), and the movie House Bunny. Kind of a drama-comedy, like the best chick flick ever with cursing in it and in book form. Just no sexual abuse and no vampires. I know it's a lot to ask for but that's why i'm asking for help!

"Flowers for Algernon" by Daniel Keyes

Moving classic. If you haven't read it, you should. :)

no young folks having fun, no sexual abuse and no romantic entanglements with Vampires and other mythical characters. You will never forget this story.

Alternatively, "the Bell Jar" by Silvia Plath. That may have suggestions of sexual abuse though. I'm not 100% sure

this one is really good, it is about society that runs peoples life psychologically. It might sound boring sci-fi but its about romance and just really good.

    Matched by Allyson Condie.

    There is a sequel.

    then there is

The body finder by Kimberly Derting

a girl that can sense dead people's bodies

it has suspence and romance also. teenage stuff.

    also a sequel to it

    then there is

Across the universe by Beth Revis

this is about a girl and a boy. the girl is iced (or something) with her parents to go to another planet because something was happening to earth. They are supposed to stay that way for about 300 years or something. She gets un iced and there is like alot of mystery going on and its really really good.

no sequel as far as i've heard.

hope you like these, no warewolfs or sexual stuff, maybe alittle in across the universe but you'll see why.
