In Tenneessee, if you get let go or terminated from employement, can you get unemployment funds?

Just wondering for if your not layed off, but terminated, not for anything like gross misconduct, but sorta like when a new boss comes along and begins weeding out people they don't like or feel meet the expectation, and then start disciplinary actions such as setting unachievable expectations in writing with letters titled 90-day improvement plan, and wording such as nonconformance will result in termination. What are the rules in TN for unemployment benifits.

usually it needs to be gross misconduct, but laws vary by state.

if you are fired for any reason you can't get unemployment. btw this is the time to stay strong. i once had a boss like this. he was fired for making a racist remark. Try to be nice/polite come in early. try your best to meet the quota. Look for other jobs but be quiet about it.

Depends on why you were terminated. Apply and the UC people will decide based on what you say and what your boss says.

If you have put in enough work time to be eligible for unemployment benefits then you should qualify.
