Putting text into F keys? Hot keys?

There's got to be a gadget or something to allow words, even a short paragraph, to be placed into an F key...like, "Hi, how's it going?" could be assigned to F3. "I'm ok...just sitting around" would be assigned to F7. Then when in a chat room, I'd just hit F3 when I see a friend online.

Any ideas?

    hold down the 'SHIFT' key for at least 8 second and the hotkeys will pop up
