Soccer shot question about curving?

When I take a shot, whether it be while moving or just like a PK, I can't not curve the ball. My shot never goes straight. I've learned to compensate for it, but it's damn annoying.

Any idea why I always curve it.

The spin on the ball is due to where you are striking the ball. It also depends on whether its a chip or if you follow through it.

What I would do is go to the nearest park, or even your backyard, and practice striking the ball with your laces. Point your toes for the area you want to score, and strike the center of the ball.
