Who likes the album eMotive?

I enjoyed eMotive, but it was obviously very inferior to A Perfect Circle's previous albums. Mer De Noms and Thirteenth Step had a lot of variety, and they seemed well-crafted and every song is brilliant. I think when a band puts out an album of cover songs, the expectations go down a little bit. Even though the band did do a nice job at changing the songs around and making them their own, it just wasn't up to the same quality, and I think that only half the songs were very strong. I think Passive and What's Goin' On are the 2 major highlights. (However, I did like the songs Billy sang on like Freedom Of Choice and Peace Love & Understanding. It was sort of a preview for his band Ashes Divide.)

I loved it-it's an acquired taste tho, kinda dark for most people. Passive is my favorite-the perfect kiss off song in my opinion!

I like it. i dont love it but i listen to it every now and then
