Why is Yahoo! answers against self-improvement?

Question

They allow questions like ''my penis size'' and ''are all democrats or republicans nazis or communists'', but if one puts a question where they want to exchange knowledge with another peson, it is erased.

Has yahoo answers become a joke and nothing more than a public message board for misfits, ignorants and hormonal tweens?

very doubtful but if you are having issues this may be of help. Keep in mind what may seem innocuous can still be a violation on YA

Sorry but even your examples are violation.  Rule is a question must seek knowledge or advice beneficial to all.  Not for posting personal problems.   Suggest you read the community guidelines and take the pop quiz

You have to be careful about the way in which you word things here.  A question must BE a question, and must seek knowledge or advice.  If your question was along the lines of, 'What do you think of my new (hairstyle, lipstick, dress, car, purse, shoes, etc.), you are asking others merely to COMMENT, which is considered 'chatting' and is a violation.

The other questions you refer to are not 'allowed' ... they are violations.  You should report them.  If enough users see and report them, they will be removed.  Complaining about it accomplishes nothing.

I feel the same way, for some reason it's okay to post a question asking if incest is okay, or to confess that you actually did it, etc. When I posted the following however, it was quickly deleted after an overwhelmingly positive response. Title: "My sister won't give me Head" Body: "and Shoulders shampoo that she borrowed from me back.". I just think it's an overreaction to people being offended.

Two reasons: 

1. It seems a lot of users are no longer reporting questions/answers that are inflammatory.  Often times, these questions remain because users do not take it upon themselves to report questions they know are against guidelines.  If users participate in reporting answers/questions that are against Y!A guidelines and they report truthfully then perhaps these questions/answers would not remain. 

2. Y!A is not a site for chatting.  Althoug I myself have used questions in that context, it is against yahoo rules.  If someone sees a question or answer that is against yahoo guidelines, then of course it will be removed.  Perhaps questions like you named were removed because they violated the rules.

I won't positioned down different races. i'm going to poke relaxing of every physique in the event that they deserve it even although (exceptionally my ow race). to respond to your question although, i'm no longer right here "to have a extra valuable wisdom of" something; i'm right here to get loads of things and bypass away all you different suckers in the dirt
