Hard to digest foods question?

Some foods like corn are hard or impossible to digest. My question is this...when I eat those foods, is it creating a calorie deficit by having to try to digest them, or does the body recognize them and let them pass? I know that drinking salt water creates a flush, but would eating them fill me up and burn calories at the same time, or would they simply become ruffage and still count completely on my caloric intake?

I don't want to do this fulltime. I have cut my intake from 3000+ down to 1200-1400 and can't exercize more than I already do. I have learned to be ok with feeling mild hunger once in a while but am still over 200 lbs after 6 months and am unwilling to starve. I just don't see how the absolute minimum of calories hasn't affected my weight OR fat OR measurement. Are there any foods that I can fill up on and still eat a healthy meal once a day?

Try the cabbage soup diet for 7 days this will jump kick u into weight loss. Cut up a head of cabbage, put into a pot with onions, carrots celery, green bell pepper and boil a few hours with water and a bottle of v-8 juice, regular or spicy for more flavor.add seasoning to taste...eat as much as u want every day to get full, and drink water,no soda or juice.....its very bland and u will get bored of it,but its cleansing to your system and u will lose weight...do it for 7 days take a break for a week or two..then u can start again when u feel u need another jump start..
